Energy efficiency and LEED certification

It is well known that temperatures in our cities have increased over the years, and the search for materials that can improve the energy efficiency of buildings is now one of the main goals of designers.

Thanks to its properties, FILITE tends to reflect the heat generated by solar radiation. For this reason, it is considered an energy-efficient material and has earned numerous points toward LEED certification (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design).

Caratteristiche principali

  • W1: Very low water absorption, indicating excellent resistance to frost and minimal crumbling over time.
  • T1: No oxidation or structural alteration after thermal cycles.
  • S1: No colour or structural change when exposed to sulfur dioxide (SO₂).
  • A1: Excellent fire resistance.

Available finishes: Natural, split, Sawn, Brushed, Tumbled, Flamed, Sandblasted.

These finishes give the product different visual effects, enhancing the stone’s schistose texture. The chromatic combinations between the different finishes are also very appealing
