DrySystem is an installation system to ensure that the wall is always dry and ventilated; it can be used for all kinds of facings, wall or plaster.​

DrySystem is ideal both for new building projects and for renovations. Particularly suitable for facings laid with glue, such as natural or manufactured stone, terracotta brick-slips, clinker, ceramic, block stone walls, facing bricks and plaster. It can be applied to all kinds of supports, brickwork, cement blocks, reinforced concrete, wood, etc. Perfect for the covering of reinforced concrete walls contiguous to earth where it is likely or you suppose that humidity or water from the ground could reach the wall. DrySystem creates a protection for the facing by avoiding problems, such as the formations of mould, surfacing saline bloomings or the detachment of products

In facing houses’ external walls, where it’s necessary to foresee their tranpiration, DrySystem allows the outgoing of the condensation that forms inside the house. DrySystem can be used to repair old walls where humidity has made the plaster crumble or where the facing has deteriorated.

For the cladding of perimeter walls
In residential buildings where wall breathability is required, DrySystem enables the evacuation of condensation that forms inside the house.
For the restoration of old masonry
Ideal in cases where humidity has damaged plaster or deteriorated the existing wall cladding.

Dryvent: made from 10 mm undulated recycled plastic, with narrow slits for horizontal and vertical ventilation. Pre-coupled with a transparent but water-repellant polyester membrane. Light and easy to bend for all kinds of support. Water-repellant polyester membrane.
ZincoRete 2,5: a support grid for all kinds of facing and plaster. It is made of galvanized iron and comes in 1000 x 2000 mm flat sheets.
Expansion fixings: they are the anchor and the support of the entire wall. B&B glue: rough coat that covers the grid before the facing is glued on.
Soffio: “L” shaped wall bracket that is also made from undulated recycled plastic like Dryvent. It is placed behind Dryvent to improve air circulation and to allow humidity and residual water to drain out

Drysystem Installation: Fix the Dryvent membrane to the wall in horizontal rows (with the grooves running vertically), ensuring the water-repellent side faces outward. Start from the bottom of the wall, folding back the overlapping flap, and carefully place the “L”-shaped Soffio elements behind the Dryvent at the base of the wall, one every 50 cm. Continue laying Dryvent in horizontal rows until the wall is fully covered, overlapping each new row with the flap of the previous one. Complete the wall by applying ZincoRete, fixing it on top of the membrane using the dedicated anchors provided. Apply a coat of B&B Special Adhesive Mortar over the mesh to create a solid bonding base for the final wall covering.
